When the Flame Zone meets the Boundary
Build within 900mm of a boundary on a BAL-FZ site and a single wall has to satisfy two standards at once, AS 3959 flame-zone construction (tested to AS 1530.8.2) and the NCC’s boundary fire-separation FRL. In practice that means a non-combustible wall carrying up to 60/60/60, with every window and door protected on both fronts. Warrior Boundary is built for exactly this overlap: a flame-zone-tested shutter that secures openings where the requirements are toughest, without the mass of steel-slat systems, keeping reveals, fixings and build programs simple.
